Spay & Neuter Assistance Program

The VAP Spay & Neuter Voucher Program is designed for Snoqualmie Valley residents in need of financial assistance. You must live in the Snoqualmie Valley to qualify for the program. In addition, you must meet one of the financial qualifications below to qualify for a spay/neuter voucher: 

1) You receive State or Federal public assistance from programs such as: SSDI/SSI, SNAP, VA Disability, WIC, Section 9 Housing, TANF, Medicaid, a school lunch program, Unemployment or similar programs.

2) You don’t receive public assistance benefits but fall under the income requirements below:

  • One person/$64,900

  • Two person/$74,150

  • Three person/$83,400

  • Four person/$92,650

  • Five person/$100,100

Spay/Neuter Surgery Information and Requirements

1) Spay/Neuter services are performed at Seattle Humane located at 13212 SE Eastgate Way, Bellevue, WA 98005. Their phone number is: 425 649-7560.

2) The Spay/Neuter voucher and your photo ID must be presented to the veterinary clinic at the time of your pet’s surgery. 

3) Dogs and cats must be at least 3 months of age or 3 pounds in weight and not older than 8 years old. 

4) There is a co-pay of $30 for cats and $50 for dogs.

5) If you need more than one spay/neuter voucher, please provide the name, sex, color, weight and age for each additional pet.

6) Transportation can be arranged for applicants without access to a car. Please request transportation assistance on your application.

7) Valley Animal Partners cannot pay for any non-surgery related services such as vaccinations or other treatments. Any services beyond spay/neuter surgery will be at your expense.

If You Meet Qualifications, Submit Your Application for a Voucher:

1) Submit an online application. If approved, the spay/neuter voucher will be emailed to you.

2) If you don’t have access to the internet, you can pick up an application from Pet Place Market in North Bend. Complete the application and return it to Pet Place Market. The spay/neuter voucher will be mailed to you.

3) Please allow us two weeks to process your application. Vouchers are valid for one year.

4) Follow the instructions that come with the spay/neuter voucher. It is your responsibility to schedule a spay/neuter appointment and pay the co-pay. Depending on the breed of your animal, they may require a pre-surgery assessment, which will be your responsibility.
